Knit and natter

Our Craft & Chatter group was started about 10 years ago by Elizabeth and met in shul on Sunday mornings; Elizabeth is a brilliant and inspirational craftswoman! We made hats, jumpers and squares for blankets, initially sent to Israel. Elizabeth has since moved there.
Since COVID, the group has knitted informally at home. Now under Stef’s guidance, among our many projects we turn squares into baby and adult blankets, create twiddle muffs for dementia clients in care homes, and make hats etc for children in orphanages abroad.
Ann Saunders, 92, is one of our main contributors, ably assisted by Shirley, Linda, Ruth and Stef.
We welcome new knitters!
