About Membership in the Colchester and District Jewish Community

Many of our members come from other parts of the world – Canada, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, India, Russia and Germany, to name but a few. This may explain why coming to shul is so pleasant: it is rather like being with extended family, a feeling strengthened by the realisation that people care more about your health and happiness than anything else. It may also explain why we are always pleased to hear about the success and achievements of one another’s children.
