The Guild (formerly referred to as the Ladies’ Guild) is the shul’s “kitchen committee” – in other words, the members who prepare food for various occasions. These include the meal for the communal seder, the special Kiddush for celebrations such as barmitzvahs and wedding anniversaries, and traditional festival dishes such as latkes, hamantaschen and honey cake. It is always a pleasure to see people (members and visitors) enjoying what is provided, and well worth the effort.
No meat is served at such events. We have a fully kosher kitchen, with separate crockery, cutlery and cookware for Passover.
